While Pittsburgh is known for its deep historically religious roots, this decline in attendance reveals a significant disconnect. Many people still claim a Christian identity, but now describe themselves as spiritually homeless - disillusioned with institutional religion, but still longing for God. Their faith remains, but their trust in the church has fractured, leaving them drifting between memory and longing.
This unveils an opportunity to offer a faith community that is deeply rooted, relational, and healing. We aim to invite people into a way of following Jesus that is authentic, transformative, and radically hospitable.
